  1. The video was cool. I kinda like the whole making art move thing, but i also feel as if art show stay still. Aslo it requires more skill to show emotion in art while it's still then to make it move the way you want it. (:

  2. The whole vedio was very interesting.
The fact that they can create art works with all those electrics and lights was really impressive.
I wish I could be there and see the actual work.
    IT IS COOL ! :)
I wonder who thought of that. :]

  3. The artwork that were in the video were very cool. It kept me entertained the whole time. I would love to actually go to the Kinetica Art Fair and see more. It was really amazing how the different artwork moved and its was creative in its on way. My favorite one that was shown in the video was the one with the bodies they were glowing some how. It was very awesome. I would love to learn how to do that one day.

  4. The part that intrigued me most was the fiber artwork with the lights which responded to sounds. It touches me how one can create art from anything which he desires! The technology, thought, and creativity put into some of these works are mind blowing! I used to think artwork had to be made from clay...or splattered on a canvas or smeered accross a peice of paper. I guess not though!

  5. i really enjoyed this video! I must one day see this fair in real life! I love how you as the viewer can actually interact with the art itself, for example, the butterfly wing movement. As well as the volume controled light strings. I really loved Ben Parry's truck with all the nick nacks from the street. It was quite an interesting art technique. I hope one day i can see it :D

  6. I thought the video was really interesting. The people in the video took 3-D Design to another level. The way they incoorperated technology with design was unbelievable. Some of the sculptures incooperated movement with the sculpture. It was great!

  7. I think it's really cool how the art moves instead of just staying still. I also like how some of the artists take everyday objects and use them in their moving art. I think some of the pieces they showed like the bus/car (I could't really tell what it was) were very busy and distracting. These artists who created the kinetic art are taking 3-D design to a whole other level, one where art will have lights and sounds and respond to voices.

  8. I think that it would be a really great museum to visit because it is so interactive and it is like you are part of the art, and unlike lots of types of art, it is always subject to change. I think it would be so cool to watch those 3D art pieces in motion, because knowing how long it takes for me to create a regular piece of 3D artwork, and they are taking it to the next step and making it move and be interactive. I would love to see it!

  9. I thought it was very interesting. It must have tooken a lot of time to manipulate all the light and different types of objects. I liked that the theme was movement. I also liked the fiber optics that were manipulated to look like the silhouettes of people.

  12. I found the artwork incredibly interesting, but it didnt exactly strike me as art- it seemed more like science. Out of all the museums, I'd probably have the most interest in going to that one. I especially liked the piece with the water level getting higher and the sound getting lower. The butterflies were pretty, and I liked the lights hanging from the ceiling.

  13. This was very interesting! =]]I love the whole art in motin idea. How they used lights, sound, and size in their art got my attention. It also seemed like they incorporated science into it in a way. My favorite one was the butterflies! =p

  14. This video was very interesting. i thought it was cool how the lady was able to create the people saped figures with the fiber optics to look like a reflection. I thought it was cool how it wasnt all just art but how they incorporated technology into it too to make it more interactive. This was a great video.

  15. What a novel concept! Combining what seems like two polar opposites (science and art) into works that are not only visually pleasing and innovative but interactive as well. As both fields progress over the next years (and I suspect they will do so at an extremely rapid rate at this point of time in history), I hope to see more of these kinds of field collaborations - perhaps it will be the next big art thing? A step out of just a visual experience but a sensory experience as well.

  16. from rebecca:

This is realllllyyyy interesting! I like how artists are starting to take advantage of technology to incorporate in their artworks. Unlike a typical museum with motionless paintings and sculptures, this one contains works of art that the visitors can interact with and become a part of, enhancing the experience. I particularly like the moving bus/truck/car thing. There is so much to look at it could never get old!
